Turtles are on the top of my list of favorite reptiles. We have many turtles living all around our little spot called home and apparently they love tomatoes as much as I.

He does not look very pleased to have me taking his photo but I cannot help myself from capturing great pictures.

He hung around as I gathered the ripe or ripening tomatoes. He hissed a little when I picked him up for a photo. I returned him to dine on the best of the tomatoes in my garden.

Well now I have!

While working on a clients deck remodel I discovered a neat friend to photograph. There are over 50 varieties of stick bugs.

I need the wheel barrow to transport materials. I grab the closest twig and she or he quickly latched to it only to fall on a piece of decking scrap.

I am happy to have met this neat fellow.

How exciting being privy to a movie shot set in the 1940′s in downtown Macon, GA!

The movie ’42′ starring Harrison Ford portraying Branch Rickey. The man who helped Jackie Robinson break not only sports history but help tear down racial barriers in America. The actor portraying Jackie Robinson is Chadwick Boseman.

I return the next afternoon to see if I could catch some of the filming. I get a thumbs up from one of the actors.

I am lucky enough to capture several photos of Chadwick Boseman portraying Jackie Robinson!

So I could no resist having a friend snap a pic of me with one of my favorite cars from the movie scenes filmed in downtown Macon, GA.

The movie ’42′ is set to open at the box offices next April.

While the neighbors are on vacation their garden grows. I have enjoyed the various sights and sweet tasty delights from helping tend the gardens over the past few weeks.

Yay new potatoes!!!
After fretting over the health of our first potato crop, I found about ten pounds of potatoes beneath the soil. I am so proud to harvest our own potato crop. The second planting of potatoes will be equally exciting.

So many photos with not enough time to capture each.

The produce from the garden makes me smile. I love the green bean with purple stripes! A little bean cross-pollination happened.

Our garden is hard at work!
The summer medley of squash is bursting with blossoms. In a week or less we will be dining on grilled squash!

The cucumbers are making tiny cukes.
The grasshopper is one of my many little garden friends.
The beans taste better than they look!

Lizards of all shapes and sizes cross my path daily. Occasionally a brave lizard will venture into our house. Most often I see them in the gardens and around the watering holes.

Lizards help control the insect population. I think the lizard in the pics above was just out for some sunshine.
