Anna’s Crazy Creations
I will add photos of my latest creations for everyone to view, enjoy and own if so desired. I am currently creating one-of-a-kind fabric art works for a local gallery show in November 2011. Wish me luck!
After November’s show, my attention turns to showcasing my art work via my blog. My ‘Super-Star’ tapestry deserves a better quality photo than the pic shown below.
I welcome all suggestions for promoting my art through my blog. Please remember, this is a whole new world for me. I crave suggestions for improvements and different ideas. Please share with me.
The above photo is an example of a baby-quilt top. Below is an example of my framed fabric art work. Thank you for visiting. Have a great day!

I want more pictures!!!!
And more you shall have! Love, Anna
Your stars are perfect! How do you do it? Template or free hand?
I have used a cardboard star-shape and use chalk to make the stars are about the same size. Template to draw and free hand cuts:)
Great stuff, you are very creative, you must have a great imagination…and awesome photos!
Thank you! I am happy you enjoy my work in all my crazy art forms:) Take care, Anna
Awesome work with fabric
Thank you! I love to bring fabrics back to ‘new life’. Take care, Anna
Thanks for stopping by. I just purchased fabric for my first two quilts. I made two small doll quilts and found some challenges to be aware of as I move forward. I’m amazed by the beauty of combining fabric and what individuals can do with similar fabrics but bring them to life in a whole other way. It’s not only fun but exciting.
Thank you for visiting my little blog! I love creating with my hands. I hope you enjoy your new projects! Take care, Anna
Great work and where is the show going to be?
Thank you! And I really need to update that post! The show was last Nov 2011 in Macon, Ga just a few months after I started my blog. Thank you for reminding me to post some new work. Take care, Anna

Oh Anna, I’ve always been fond of “crazy quilts”. Where do you round up the scraps from…what are your best resources? I really dig when artists re-use materials. Would it be possible for me to share a photo of one of your pieces on my blog in the future? It fits in nicely with bibbieandblue’s vision
Hey there! Happy you enjoy my fabric work. I find materials at yard sales, thrift stores, and via a annual clothes swap. After cleaning the clothes or fabric pieces, I begin deconstructing the clothing into squares and rectangles. The left over fabric bits are saved in a bin. You are welcome to share my photos and work. It’s nice that you enjoy the beauty of creating with recycled or upcycled materials! Take care, Anna
You write very well. I look forward to reading more of your world, so different from my own.
Thank you! The beauty in life is difference. Take care, Anna
