The garden will soon be level with rich soil.
Lasagna layering in the garden is a great way to create productive vegetable growth as the compost continues to decompose.
We decide one more truck load of top soil will suffice with Jungle Growth dirt purchased at Lowes.
Hearty grows wishes to our potatoes, red cabbage, brussels sprout, red and sweet carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, collard greens, rutagaba plants, butter crunch lettuce, red and sweet onions and the asparagus bed!

How exciting! I’m hoping to get a garden going here but we aren’t done with freezing temps yet. I’ll get started with seedlings inside though! Can’t wait to watch your progress.
Thanks Leah!! I started my seeds indoors as well. I love your blog! Wish me luck canning this summer.
What a fun post! I love the shots of the dirt! Sounds like you are very motivated to grow some great food. I love growing vegetables and have one bed already planted with seeds but I need to get some warm season seeds going indoors!
Thank you very much! I love gardening. Best wishes to you and your garden this season! Take care, Anna
